CLST initiated From Coding to STEM programme to nurture young students’ computational thinking and problem-solving skills through implementing a sustainable coding and STEM curriculum. In the long run, we hope that students could explore their enthusiasm and talents in STEM-related areas.

To engage students in authentic and experiential learning experience without setting foot outside the classroom, CLST developed EduVenture® VR (EV-VR), an integrated virtual reality mobile educational system. With a smartphone and a costless VR cardboard, students can immerse in a virtual field trip anytime and anywhere, and engage in an interactive learning experience.

ADVENTURE with EduVenture®
In outdoor field trips, students’ lack of learning motivation is always a challenge for teachers. CLST developed EduVenture®, a learning platform that supports teachers and students to effectively and interactively conduct outdoor field-trips.

From CAITE to CLST
We have expanded the research and teacher professional development mission of the Centre for the Advancement of Information Technology in Education (CAITE) to include evidence-based learning principles and how cognitive psychology can be applied to classroom teaching. Since July 2016, the Centre is renamed “Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies (abbreviated as “CLST”).
